Title

Organic kale from Germany, dried and milled to a bright green powder. Grassy, clean and a very direct way to get greens into things.

  • Bright green powder flecked with darker pieces, tastes like kale
  • 100% organic kale (Brassica oleracea var. sabellica) grown in Germany
  • For smoothies, soups, dressings, dips and doughs

What is kale powder?

Kale powder is dried, milled organic kale and nothing else. The leaves are grown in Germany and milled so that 98% passes a 200 micron sieve. A teaspoon of powder represents a substantial amount of fresh leaf, which is what makes it so useful in the kitchen.

How it is made

The kale is dried and ground to a fine powder. The brighter and darker flecks in the powder are simply different parts of the leaf.

What it tastes like

Typical of the cabbage family: green, grassy and clean, with a savoury edge. The colour is a bright green with darker pieces through it.

How to use kale powder

Blend a teaspoon into a smoothie, stir it into soups and stews, whisk it into salad dressings or fold it into hummus and dips. It also colours pasta and bread dough green. Use according to taste.
